Nothing is fundamental
Its time for another big claim! Because I love to do so. We, humans, thought the cell is fundamental to the human body, but later found A single cell consists nucleus, mitochondria, and whatnot. In particle physics, we started with the atom. Atom was thought to consist of electrons, protons, and neutrons. But in 1968 again we found protons and neutrons are made of up quarks and down quarks. We even found other particles like w, neutrinos, and others which currently are part of the standard model.
What I think is we would never be able to know what is fundamental. Everything is made of something. We have three different variations of quarks, electrons, and neutrinos at the present stage. And I believe this is not just because of the weight they carry at high energy collisions and later decay into normality.
There has to be something more fundamental, which does this all, Which I believe is also responsible for the antiparticles.
Think of space we thought to be empty but it may house dark energy and if found dark energy would be made of its particle. There is ongoing research on graviton, the particles responsible for gravity.

All these particles will remain fundamental until we don't find more. As technology improves, we would be able to dive into electrons, quarks, and neutrinos. We humans won't stop doing so, because we love exploring what's inside! Even if we found God. This cycle will go on infinitely.
